A top-performing ecommerce website for the #1 trusted bird’s nest brand in the United States. Golden Nests offers a wide range of 100% all-natural bird’s nests, soups, beverages, and gifts.
THE ASK
Golden Nest’s previous website has become outdated. Their foremost objective is to enhance the user experience and interface of their highly successful e-commerce platform through optimization. This performance improvement effort is centered around enhancing the website’s overall performance and elevating the UI/UX to facilitate enhancements in PageSpeed, user engagement, and the desktop/mobile user experience.
THE SOLUTION
A detailed UI/UX audit was conducted to identify areas of improvement in the current design. In Phase 1, the focus was on mobile UI/Visual Improvements, enhancing usability by updating User Interface elements to resemble a native mobile app without major changes to the site structure. This involved optimizing UI Scale and Responsiveness, unifying UI Elements, and applying best practices. In Phase 2, targeted UX improvements were made to Home, Product Category, and Product pages to increase conversions, average order value, and engagement on mobile. Simultaneously, a comprehensive website revamp was undertaken, enhancing navigation, visuals, and performance across all platforms.
UI/UX Assessment – A thorough assessment was performed to pinpoint areas for enhancement in the existing UI/UX design.
Enhance mobile usability by revamping User Interface elements within the mobile viewport to provide a native mobile app-like appearance and user experience, with minimal adjustments to the site structure during this stage.
Simplifying UI scaling and responsiveness, and standardizing UI elements while incorporating best practices.
Boost mobile conversions, raise average order values, and enhance user engagement by crafting, testing, and rolling out targeted UX enhancements on Home, Product Category, and Product pages.
