How to Share Google Analytics Access

Step 1: Log into Google Analytics

  1. Go to Google Analytics and log in with your credentials.
  2. Select the account you want to grant access to.

Step 2: Navigate to Account Settings

  1. Click on the Admin gear icon at the bottom-left corner of the page.
  2. In the Account, Property, or View column (depending on the level of access you wish to grant), click Account Access Management or Property Access Management.

Step 3: Add a New User

  1. Click the + icon in the top-right corner and select Add users.
  2. Enter the email address of the user (your marketing agency’s contact) you wish to add.
  3. Choose the appropriate permissions:
    • Read & Analyze: Allows users to view reports and data.
    • Collaborate: Allows users to create and share assets.
    • Edit: Allows users to make changes to the configuration.
    • Manage Users: Allows users to add or remove users and change permissions.

Step 4: Notify Your Agency

Once you’ve added the user, let your marketing agency know that they now have access. They should receive an email notification, but a direct message ensures they can start working without delay.

 

How to Share Google My Business Access

Step 1: Log into Google My Business

  1. Go to Google My Business and sign in with your business account.
  2. Select the location or business profile you want to manage.

Step 2: Access the Users Section

  1. Click on Users from the menu on the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Add a New User

  1. Click the Invite new users icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Enter the email address of the marketing agency contact.
  3. Choose a role for the new user:
    • Owner: Full access to manage all aspects of the business profile.
    • Manager: Can edit the business information and respond to reviews.
    • Site Manager: Limited access, typically used for agencies handling specific tasks.

Step 4: Confirm Access

Once the invitation is sent, your agency will need to accept it. Inform them to look for an email invitation and accept it to gain access.
